Dear Mr.Halasur
Thank you for your previously support.
In addition, I have some question that I need your help as below ;
1.Have any software be able to export the type of format files that show in “Choose structure box "?
2.What is the cause of this warning message as below ? How can I solve this problem?
Hi,
referring to the question:
"Dear Mr. Bernor I have some question about export (Fiber orientation tensor by Helius) to Abaqus as below,
I would like to export file (.odb) to abaqus but it's not have .odb file to choose for export.
Can you suggest me how to export .odb file ? "
Helius PFA Advanced Material Exchange.
First, the mapping job has to be completed.
After the job has completed, open Abaqus/Viewer and click File > Open from the main toolbar and open the .odb
So you do not export the odb as such from Helius.
Helius PFA Advanced Material Exchange
- This is used to map result data from Moldflow to Abaqus directly.
- Helius and Abaqus to be installed on same machine
I think this tutorial explains the steps well:
Tutorial 2 - Analyze an Injection-Molded Radiator Tank
Export to FEA and Run the Analysis
View Results
Appendix B - State Variable Outputs
SDV18 1st eigenvalue of the fiber orientation tensor
SDV19 2nd eigenvalue of the fiber orientation tensor
SDV20 3rd eigenvalue of the fiber orientation tensor
This is just for your information.
Other ways to export data to Abaqus:
Moldflow interface to Abaqus using mpi2abq
About interfacing to Abaqus (3D)
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Berndt
Dear Mr. Bernor
I saw the tutorial 2 ,as your recommend and I do it follow step by step but it is happen error under red line message as pictured below.
Can you suggest me how to edit it ?
Hi,
this could be related to Abaqus environment file.
Environment File Considerations
Prior to running a job with Abaqus, you will need to setup the abaqus_v6.env file.
The usub_lib_dir variable in the abaqus_v6.env file should point to the directory holding the user material subroutine. The user material subroutine is located in the installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Helius PFA 2019\).
As an example, consider the case for a model run with Abaqus 2017:
usub_lib_dir = 'C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Helius PFA 2019/bin/abaqus/2017'
Use forward slashes (/) rather than back slashes (\).
Only double precision analyses are supported. Set the double_precision parameter in the abaqus_v6.env file as follows:
double_precision = BOTH
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Berndt
I follow your recommend step by step but I can't find abaqus_v6.env file, only saw this hpfa.env file.
So how can I find abaqus_v6.env file ?
I'm not sure about setting environment, please check for me as below;
Could you remote to my computer by Teamviewer ?
Hi,
first, I do not have access to Abaqus on my machine.
You need to have Abaqus and Helius installed on the same machine.
The .env-file is for Abaqus installation.
Do you have Abaqus installed?
If Abaqus installation does not work properly, you need to contact Abaqus support.
Regards,
Berndt
Dear Mr. Bernor
