Fehler 1900303

Hello,

if i want to mesh my CAD-model (3D) it doesent work and i get the Errors below:

Fehler 1900303  no visivle components to mesh.

FEHLER MSID_INSERT_MAT_NOT_SUPPORTED - An insert has an unsupported material. mpi2str is now terminated. You can then select the insert material again in the Moldflow material database and run the program again.

What could be the problem?

Hi,
not so easy to understand what is going wrong just from that error message:
Solver message 1900303
** Error 1900303 ** Nothing visible to mesh. Entities to be meshed should be on visible layers, and properties should be consistent with mesh aim.

Is the CAD geometry a closed solid?
Does it contain part and insert to be meshed?
Could you provide the model?

For 3D tetra mesh, you could try:
Change the property of the CAD geometry for part to Part (3D).

Change the property of the CAD geometry for insert to Insert (3D).
Edit property of Insert and change to an available material, of metal or polymer.
For Insert, you could change properties later, if meshed as Part(3D).

Layer of CAD geometry to be on when meshing.

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Berndt

Hello,

my part is a solid part without an insert. I also get the error when i import and mesh any other geometry with the difference that the mesh is still genereted. But the error message is the same.

Hi,

right, thanks for the feedback.

Sounds a bit strange, what you experience.

1) Which software and release do you use?

2) Which format of CAD-file?

Sometimes a cleanreg could solve odd behaviours.

Running a Clean Registry in Simulation Moldflow Products
You are having odd issues with directory access, results access, as well as general usability concerns and need a quick fix without having to go through the entire reinstallation process. A clean registry does just this, by cleaning out the registry and reconfiguring the installation to default settings and removing any configurations that may be causing those issues.

Could you share CAD-file?

Berndt

Hi,

strange behaviour you experience.

Have not seen this for step/cad-files imported to Synergy before at all.

Please, add the simple cube in step format (zip first), created in Inventor 2019, to a post.

(I have no access to Inventor 2019.)

I could try on my side.

Might be so that Autodesk Technical Support needs to investigate this.

Berndt

Hi,

thank you for providing the Inventor .ipt--file.

I could import and mesh, no error message.

(Imported and meshed to 3D mesh.)

This could be difference:

I am using English installation of Windows and Moldflow.

I would suggest you do the cleanreg as suggested in a previous post.

Then try to import and mesh.

If still an issue it needs to be escalated to Autodeks tech support.

Berndt

Early you suggested:

For 3D tetra mesh, you could try:
Change the property of the CAD geometry for part to Part (3D).

how can i change the property of the CAD geometriy in moldflow insight?

Hi,

cleanreg :

The application itself actually cleans and organizes the registry keys for the program in question to ensure the default configuration is being used to bypass any of the issues that are causing the problem.

So basically resets to default configuration.

License keys/files are not touched.

So user history is lost, like history of chosen materials and other user related settings that has been done.

Is like start from scratch with fresh installation.

Doing this could clean the issue you see, instead of trying a time consuming reinstallation.

Close Moldflow Insight UI (User Interface) also called Synergy and run:

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Moldflow Synergy 2019\bin\synergycleanreg.exe

Here is the mesh settings. The log file shows the details of settings. So you can easily compare details on your side.

Hi ,

I posted a reply, before notified you posted a question:

How to change the property of the CAD geometry for part to Part (3D):

1) Select the CAD-body

2) Righ-click and select Change Property Type To...

3) Select : Part (3D)

If you do not see Part (3D) in list, it is already set.

To assign new property:

1) Select the CAD-body

2) tab Geometry, Properties area: click Assign button

3) click New, and select : Part (3D)

Hope this helps.

Berndt

Guten Tag,

7. Geometrie erneut eingelesen und als Dual Domain vernetzt - Vernetzung ohne Probleme möglich - dann korrigiert

8. Nach Korrektur - 3D Vernetzung
