Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Moldflow Forum.
Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

In response to your 99998 Error:

This problem could be caused by a license not running properly, a license level update (For example premium to ultimate), or numerous other problems involving the LICPATH.LIC file.

Here is a Link to a thread which outlines all the possible causes as well as two categories the problems above typically fall into.

If you have any further questions about Moldflow feel free to ask and I would be more than happy to answer!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for your response and details.

Assuming the license server has been configured correctly, and is verified to be ok, this error is typically associated with an incorrect product key being entered when initially installing the software.

To solve this:

Try re-installing while ensuring the correct product key is entered upon re-installing the software.

Note:

  • Simulation Moldflow Insight requires Simulation Moldflow Synergy and Simulation Moldflow Insight be installed to run correctly (Synergy is the UI, and Insight is the solver). Insight and Synergy require separate product keys.
  • The product key changes with the product - for example, the 2017 version of Insight requires a different product key than the 2018 version

Let me know if you have any further questions and I would be more than happy to answer!

Please select the Accept as Solution button if a post solves your issue or answers your question.

I had this failure yesterday - after trying to run a 3rd analysis in parallel.

30 minutes later it seemed to work normal again.

Since these messages are both related to 2019 (at least for me) and I haven't had this before maybe it is somehow a problem of MF 2019?

I recently upgraded to subscrition - maybe due to that?

Else MF runs fine...

Hi,
It was the same ERROR 99998 happened on the 2nd computer(1synergy)  while the 1st computer (1 Synergy)  was using the Solver license. ( 2 Synergy licenses and 1 Solver license(Ultimate)).
I can't remember at that time the solver was used with maximum 3 or not. If not, can the  ERROR 99998 happened on the 2nd computer ?
