1.Baffle one or two curve  , has it difference ?

2. How to create point P3 to P2 ?

3.One and two curve ,same or not and how to create mesh  ?

4. Can I do create one or two curve for cooling analysis?

Hi,

Regarding :

"1.Baffle one or two curve  , has it difference ?"

> The only difference is, You just need to add coolant outlet in "one line baffle" to network solver knows where the coolant exit in connected channels. But the traditional and technically "V shape" is better option.

2. How to create point P3 to P2 ?

> Just offset the centre node with symmetric around 0.5mm each side.

3.One and two curve ,same or not and how to create mesh  ?

> Mesh the channels curves with SAME manners.

4. Can I do create one or two curve for cooling analysis?

> Yes, You can.

Hi,

Mohit UPPAL

Thank you for your support, but I have hesitation about red message as below.

Because my customer ,he  worried about cooling.

This is picture, my ideal show inlet/outlet (baffles create from one curve) ,Are you mean (coolant outlet in "one line baffle"). ?

***I don't understand "coolant outlet in "one line baffle" please show picture to me.

2.technically "V shape" is better option.

-Excuse me ,please explain "v" shape is better option if is possible.

3. Heat transfer effective "HTE"

-Defaults HTE of  one and two curve , should be value and how to consider it. ?

4. Normally,I should create baffle from one or two curve.?

Hey,

"1.Baffle one or two curve , has it difference ?"
> The only difference is, You just need to add coolant outlet in "one line baffle" to network solver knows where the coolant exit in connected channels. But the traditional and technically "V shape" is better option.

-: There must be inlet and outlet in complete single channel if you use one line baffle. It sounds that you can create baffle with one line (NOT channel as one line) but we need to show the exit coolant point for solver understanding. I believe, attached Picture will help for detail understanding.

2.technically "V shape" is better option.

-"Excuse me ,please explain "v" shape is better option if is possible."

-: Refer the picture for your understanding

3. Heat transfer effective "HTE"

-Defaults HTE of  one and two curve , should be value and how to consider it. ?

HTE must be assigned to any bubblers and baffles that exist in your design, this is done automatically. Bubblers require a HTE value of 1 on the outside surface and a value of 0 on the inside surface, and semi-circular baffles should be assigned an HTE value of 0.5.(Doesn't matter for one curve baffles or V- shape baffles )

4. Normally,I should create baffle from one or two curve.?

:- Should be by two curves (v-shape)

Regards,

Hi  All,

I have additional question, @vgrover could you tell me what will be diffrence between this two technolgies in that case:

1.png

If we use one or two-curves baffle? Solver has "described" where is in and out-put of water. So there should be no diffrence between one or two-curves baffle...

There is some other reasons?

Thank yiu in advance!

Hey Rafal,

If you use one curve baffle, You must add coolant outlet to show the geometry to identify where the coolant exit. Otherwise it will be difficult to identify the  start point and end point for solver.

*As mentioned in trail, "V shape" is better option reason wise it helps to improve the processing time as well.

Kind Regards,

Mohit UPPAL
