I want to run a Core Shift (3D) analysis and in addition to that I wan't to define Loads (e.g. Surface, Pressure Load) on that existing 3D Core Mesh to integrate Clamping Forces as Boundary condition.
For better Understanding:
The average stress amplitude of mold cores or sliders is not always 0 MPa at the start of the injection molding cycle. Often, a compressive stress is present due to the clamping force. In addition to this force, dynamic loading occurs during injection and holding.
There is no Possibility to do that in AMI 2026.
This has practical benefit to investigate realisitic durability of e.g. sliders through dynamic and static pressures.
As a user, you could then perform almost everything in Moldflow Insight without having to switch software or simplify boundary conditions in external FEM programs.
I would suggest to integrate this option into further Software releases.
@franco.costa maybe you could discuss/evaluate the feasibility of this idea with your Researchteam.
Thank you in advance.
