Simulation job manager for mulit-user server

I have installed Moldflow 2018 R2 in a multi-user server. When I am using Moldflow 2018 R2, another user cannot run the analysis of Moldflow 2018 R2, and there is not the second user's process of SimJobManager.exe in the Windows Task Manager.The license number is enough. And we can use the Moldflow 2016 of this server simultaneously.

We faced similar problem but worse... the Moldflow user have to be the first one to log on the multi user machine.
If they logs on with someone (non-moldflow user) already in the machine, they cannot launch Simulation Job Manager at all.

Hello,

We have identified this issue and it will be fixed in the next version of Simulation Job Manager.

Meanwhile, there is a workaround that you can try - 

If the 2nd user (who did not install SJM) double clicks on the SimulationJobmanager.exe (c:\programfile\Autodesk\....
then they will get an error (warning) that the ports are used - ignore that- but the SJM will work for both.

So, as workaround: create a shortcut on the desktop and the "2nd User" just needs to click on that.

The new Simulation Job Manager will be coming out soon and will not have this limitation.

hi,

A further workaround would be when each user exits out of the job manager before he/she logs out.

you can exit the Simulation job manager by "right" clicking on the SJM symbol in in tray and  selecting "EXIT".

once SJM is closed and the  user logs out, other users who log in can access the job manager.

Each user will have an "own" SJM setup in his local temp directory ( %temp%.)
