It would indeed be nice to be able to select nodes (and/or face elements) linked to their underlying CAD geometry.
When dealing with complex geometries, it is a lot faster to select underlying CAD geometries and then expand to the nodes linked to it.
The current features "nodes on the same edge" and "tetras on the same surface" only work with sharp feature angles, but not on CAD edges or faces that are smoothly connected to each other via a blend or fillet for example.
