Only first user in multi server machine can launch Simulation Job Manager 2018

The first user is not even using Moldflow, just another user of the machine for other purposes.

This is enough to cause subsequent Moldflow users that logs on unable to launch Simulation Job Manager.

Please help to come out with a patch for this.

We had similar experiences with another software, it has to be fixed between software developer and Microsoft Windows.

Thanks!

Our system:
Windows Server 2012 R2 (64bit)

Hello.

We have identified this issue and it will be fixed in the next version of Simulation Job Manager.

Meanwhile, there is a workaround that you can try -

If the 2nd user (who did not install SJM) double clicks on the SimulationJobmanager.exe (c:\programfile\Autodesk\....
then they will get an error (warning) that the ports are used - ignore that- but the SJM will work for both.

So, as workaround: create a shortcut on the desktop and the "2nd User" just needs to click on that.

The new Simulation Job Manager will be coming out soon and will not have this limitation.

Thanks,

Rahul Patil
