Library with hot gates & cold gates

Why don't Moldflow have a library of different hot- and cold gates (i.e. film gate, tunnel gate, horn gate etc.) that is easy to work? Compare with Moldex 3D.

cadmould has a hot runner library from f.e. PSG hot runner library inclusive the gates.

I agree,

these are providing their libraries for years, but Moldflow still has nothing comparable to offer. Though sometimes Autodesk proclaims their new functions in Moldflow they implemented in cooperation with hot runner manufacturers like Synventive.

This library is a long awaited feature of Moldflow.

Moldflow Adviser had this capability in 2015.  Not sure if it does now.

It's not easy to provide a Hot runner library for few mains reasons :

a) confidentiality

b) knowledge to nozzle type / series selection depending of the customer application

c) # of different designs (several hundred, thousand)

a) why should it be confidential to provide a model of a hot runner with the main diameters?

is it a secret that the main diameter is 18 and the needle is 8? the hot runner can modeled surely in a way that does not reveal company secrets

b) thats why its called a library

d) why are others able to provide this feature?
