extend the limit for Selection of elements

hello, 

When selection a huge number of elements ( nodes or triangles), currently there is a limit to  4096.

it could interesting to extend this limit. 

Or maybe make some kind of exportable/importable selection ( as txt file for example)

Hello Cedric,

I am not aware of any such a general limit. In fact, I am fairly sure that I have been able to select millions of elements in one selection and apply some operations such as move and global merge to them all. Could you please provide some more details about the specific operation you are doing?

Note also, that the displayed list of selected element/node numbers might indeed be limited, but that does not mean that the number of entities selected was actually limited (as you can tell by seeing that all the selected entities will be colored pink.
