In MM there are two ways to scale objects:
- Either (if you want to scale a scene of several objects): Go to ANALYSIS/UnitsDimensions: Here you can set a length of the bounding box's dimension. This affects all objects in the scene. Scaling that way will always be proportional in 3D. There's no way to put in a factor (2 times or 5 times) in that tool. So you'll need to do the length multiplication in your brain.
- Or (on a single object): This object being the active one, go to EDIT/Transform. If you want to get proportional scaling enable the UniformScaling checkbox. Now, that done, you can set any Scale(X,Y,Z) by a factor (maybe 2 or 5) or put in a desired target dimensional length in any Size (X,Y,Z) box by clicking on the displayed values in the tool's menu.
