Hi guys,
I have a model which I made hollow and now I'm trying to cut some holes on it.
The shape of these holles do now allow me to use the cilinder/cube technique so instead I tried to select the area, use the smooth boundary tool and delete.
When doing this, it just cuts the outter shell...so i have to select the same area on the inside shell, use the smooth boundary tool again and delete.
And this is what i get:
The problem is that now I have the hole but the 2 shells (created with the hallow tool) are not closed.
Using the "join", "bridge", "weld boundaries" or "make solid" do not work 😞
How can I fix this?
Or is there another technique to make the holes on hallow objects?
Thanks in advance

You are doing things correctly, those tools should work unless there is a non-manifold mesh issue.
Please attach the .mix ill take a took.

Yep mesh error:
Run analysis > inspector, then click on the pink ones to delete them. then the other tools worked for me.
You can also, instead and deleting, just select then use tube handle: https://help.autodesk.com/view/MSHMXR/2019/ENU/?guid=GUID-17C33D59-5C67-40AB-AAB1-EC1ACCCDF763
