attract/magnet tool transparency

Hi

I am using meshmixer to magnetize the surface of one object to the next.  When I do this the magnet object turns transparent purple.  My colleague is trying to do the same but his is solid grey in colour and therefore cannot see the object he is trying to change underneath the magnet.

Does anyone know how to switch this function on?

thanks Katy

Hi
This hasn't worked either. Is there anything else you know we can try?

Thanks again.

Hmmm, you could just drop the transparent shader onto your transparent object, or just turn the visibility of the target object off via the object browser.
