Align two objects???

How difficult could it be to select two objects and align them to each other somehow? Impossible.

I have been trying to figure this out for hours now. Treat me like I know nothing.

A step by step would be greatly appreciated.

Or a tutorial on what all of the align settings actually do. I cant figure it out at all

Set one object as your target by pressing the '~' key > Select all on the
other object > Edit > Align to target.

Is this what you are looking for?

I think we also addressed this on the Facebook group:

Create a facegroup for the face you want to align. Then Use the Create Pivot command with "snap to group center" and "link to target" enabled. Do this for other cubes as well, and you should be able to just drag a line from one pivot to another to align.

You are better off with exporting your objects, aligning them in tinkercad and re-importing them into the hell called meshmixer. Trust me, it will save you nerves and time.

Nah. Can do it in about 5 seconds:

The pivot option works too if you have a particular vertex, or face you want touching another particular vertex or face, say perhaps going face to face ...:
