Why is Liquid Rendering Gray?

Hey everyone,

I can't seem to get this liquid shader to render correctly no matter what. I need it to have a similar look to this:

However, mine keeps rendering with ugly gray portions. in the liquid:

I did attach the link to the scene file here at the bottom, but here are some quick stats:

- Specular color is the "whisky" color, roughness set very low. IOR 1.4

- Transmission:

   Weight:1

   Color: Whiskey color

   Depth: 0

   Scatter: (none)

   Transmit AOVs checked

- Coat: (none)

- Both the liquid and the glass pitcher has correct-facing normals, and Opage is unchecked in the Arnold tab

- Lit with a single overhead Arnold area light, and a skydome light.

- Geometry: Thin Walled UNchecked

- Samples are 3,3,4,4

- Ray Depth: Total - 9, Diffuse - 3, Specular - 5, Transmission - 8, Volume - 0, Transp Depth - 8

I am rendering to a 32bit float Tif, so that I can have transparency with the glass in the render, for compositing in Photoshop, and/or placing on a different-colored background.

Sorry to reply to my own post, but after much Photoshopping, I got it to here:

I'm ok with this look, but would really rather not have to spend so much time in post. There's got to be a more efficient way.
