Hi Everyone. I need help. For background, I'm running V-Ray for Maya 2020 on Windows. Up until two nights ago, I’d been working with a Maya scene with little to no hiccups. Then, I tried to render, my whole machine froze, then shut off. I tried to render again with different settings. Same result. I tried again with different settings. Same thing. I’ve tried rendering a different iteration of the same project— no change. Yet, when I try to render a different project, I have no problems. I narrowed down the problem because it began happening in multiple scenes. I think that my objects being smoothed (3 key) causes the whole system to crash. I don't know why and I need help. Thank you to anyone with ideas.
