Threadripper 3970x with Arnold 6

Hello, I post on this forum hoping for answers to be able to understand,
Thank you in advance

PC1: 6 cores, 12 threads
i7 5820K, 48GB ddr4 2133Mhz, Gtx 1070 ti, Dark Rock po 3, Asus x99 a2, Ssd 250 Go,
Windows 10 pro 1909, Maya 2020, Arnold 4.0.1, V-Ray next

PC2: 32 cores, 64 threads
Threadripper 3970x, 64 GB ddr4 3200 Mhz, Rtx 2080 ti, Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3, Gigabyte trx40 pro wifi, Ssd 1to, Windows 10 pro 1909, Maya 2020, Arnold 4.0.1, V-Ray next

Test1: Vray benchmark 4.1 CPU, Cinebench r20

Pc1 Vraybenchmark 4.1 CPU (processor task manager at 100%, temp 42 °)
result 6977
Cinebench r20 (processor task manager at 100%, temp 40 °)
result 2420

Pc2 Vraybenchmark 4.1 CPU (100% processor task manager, temp 74 °)
result 45217
Cinebench r20 (processor task manager at 100%, temp 75 °)
16835 result

conclusion: Until all is well the pc2 is on average 6 to 7 times faster depending on the bench software.

I'm coming to you today because I don't understand many things with Arnold.

Test2: Image1

I did some rendering tests with Pc2 by modifying the thread setting in Render setting / Systeme / render settings, (the section about threads).

Here are the different settings I made with the Pc2
- Autodetect threads (processor task manager at 50%, temp 72 °) image rendered in 43min
- Threads 0 (processor task manager at 50%, temp 74 °) image rendered in 46min
- Threads 32 (processor task manager at 30%, temp 70 °) image rendered in 41min
- Threads 64 (processor task manager at 50%, temp 73 °) image rendered in 44min
- Threads 128 (100% processor task manager, temp 80 °) image rendered in 42min

For all these tests the processor remains between 75 and 80 degrees, normal temperature for this processor the manufacturer indicates 95 degrees maximum

Test3: Image2
I did some rendering tests with Pc1 and Pc2 on the same scene by modifying the image sample parameters in Render setting / Arnold render for each test.
Pc 1: rendering 26min28sec on average

Pc 2: rendering 13min09sec on average

conclusion: nothing is going well anymore, i don't understand why arnold doesn't take into account the difference in the use of threads in order to make rendering faster. Following test 3 the pc2 is only 2 times faster than the pc1 despite 32 cores instead of 6 cores, a higher base frequency, a higher boost frequency, ram at 3200 mhz instead of 2133 mhz.

With the threaderpper 2990wx released for a long time normally arnold should be able to manage the 32 cores. So why the difference is so small ????

Is there something to settle in the bios, windows, maya, arnold ???

If someone can tell me

Thank you
