Multi-layered material (71+ different) painted on landscape mesh

Hello everyone, I'm trying to take my 71 textures and paint them onto 1 single huge mesh, now I've been trying to do a bunch of things like using the 3d paint tool but it seems to be restricted to a maximum of 3 different which is way too little.

The reason why I want to paint 71 different textures onto 1 mesh is that it needs to be used inside of Unreal, and from there, I have the real materials that I can replace with the ones from Maya...

I've tried to look up many tutorials on this but I can't find anything.. If anyone got a solution to this I'd be so thankful!

Now i tried using other softwares to attempt to pain it onto the surface like Armorpaint and Agama materials but those 2 dont make the textures swappable in unreal but rather bakes all of the textures onto 1 surface that i cannot change..

Thanks in advance 🙂

I recommend doing it in unreal. You get what you see.

We tried on many productions its always the best.

Im already re-doing it in unreal but the workflow will be horrible..

Still hoping for a solution in maya tho, it would make it alot easier..
