crypto_asset should differentiate between

references.but this update renders as crypto_object

Found solution. In Arnold render settings 

if "Export Full Paths" is turned off the issue getting resolved

Check the attachment for better understanding

You can also add the custom string attribute mtoa_constant_crypto_asset to the shape node and set it the same for each object you want to belong to that asset.

In my case I fixed the same / similar problem by turning off "strip obj namespaces" in the main cryptomatte AOV node.
