Mental Ray Plug-In Missing

I'm using an older version of Maya.... 2013. I've installed this version before and was able to enable the Mayatomr plug-in but my new install does not have this. Does anyone have this plug-in that could send it to me? I scoured the net last night looking for it but didn't find anything.

I'm aware of having to enable the plug-in maya, it's that this plug-in is nowhere to be found.

Hi Joe,

Mental Ray doesn't exist anymore, you would be wasting precious time, I highly recommend learning right away a new modern renderer like Redshift, Vray , Arnold and renderman.

Unfortunately, my project's done and just needs rendered. I'll keep looking, it's out there somewhere.

I may try reinstalling. The original hard drive in my Mac Pro had some issues last year so I installed a new drive but kept the old one which is where maya was installed - I'm basically using that. I was just thinking that doing a reinstall on the new drive might get back that plug-in. I know I had it before.

I understand that MR has been discontinued but I've used it for years and get very good results with it so I'll prob keep using it... at least for now.

You have to install the same MR version for your Maya, meaning same service pack or update number.

Thanks, Damaggio! I realized I only copied the Maya app. file and not the whole Autodesk folder to the new drive. I deleted everything on the new HD, copied the entire AD folder over and MR is an option.
