Maya render problems damaged files

Hi,

 

I want to render a tif sequence in Maya 2016 Non-commercial. If i batch render it it will produce damaged filesand i can't open them in NUKE or Photoshop. What's the problem? Am i doing something wrong here?

Your video shows that the image format is set to openEXR...not TIF. That may be your problem.

Photoshop can't open an exr file if you have "deep image format" enabled when you render. Uncheck that on the "scene" tab of the render settings under Primary Framebuffer, then try your render again.

 

Edit: This seems to be a problem with other image formats also  (Jpg, etc.) when "deep image format" is enabled. It's not just limited to exr files.
