How to display the material of the model, after importing an obj file with mtl?

System: Ubuntu 18.04.6

Maya version: 2023

Here are steps:

1. In a command line window, execute "maya model.obj", than the window is open.

2. In the attribute editor, material_1F is seen to attach to the model and can be viewed.

But what should I do to show the material on that model, rather than the whole white thing?
