Do I need a bump map when I have a displacement or height map?

Just for theoretically understanding. When I have displacement or height map it is its unneccessary to have a bump or normal map??

A height map is a displacement map.

It can also be used as bump map, or you can also combine  a normal map over the displacement to add more detail.

If you get all the detail you need from a displacement map then there's no need do add anything else.
