Blur few objects in scene - no motion

Hi everyone. I am rendering a still image for school. How do I blur only a few objects, specifically background walls in the scene?

"Motion blur" is all that comes up when I research. Nothing is in motion. I even played with Depth of Field and f-stop but it's not giving me the result I want. Still learning.

Depth of field is the way to go. Or render in layers and blur in Photoshop.
