Hello People, i have a 5 servers render Farm and i need to do the following..
3 of these 5 CPUs should render directly with backburner (no problem doing that).. now.. for the 4 and 5 CPU i want to use backburner in the 4th + MR satellite with 5.. so the 4 and 5 CPUs should work together (the 4 being the master of the 5th)...
MR satellite work just fine with I directly batch render from Maya or Right Click Menu "Render".. so i tought "if i put the host of the 5th CPU on the maya.rayhost file, remove the 5th CPU from the BB Monitor, and launch the BB, everything should work fine" the thing is.. when using backburner maya.rayhost is not being read.. so i think this is something fixeable thru "custom commands" on the BB submit JOb in maya rendering properties.. but i already spend 5 hours trying to figure it out... and i didn't find anything...
does anyone know how to achieve that task?
