Arnold Wireframe Shader density?

I'm wondering if there might be a way via script or some hidden attribute to render a wireframe in Arnold without the density of the smooth mesh preview, but with the smoothness preserved?

I'm interested in multiplying the wireframe against a render to show the construction of the model, but I'd prefer to display the topology as I created it.

I realize there are other workarounds with other shaders and layers, I'm just asking if this might be able to accomplish with the Arnold wireframe shader, as it is very convenient to just include it as an AOV.

Thanks

Hi!

No, that's not possible.

Arnold just gets the "final" mesh and renders the wireframe, it does not make use of history.
