Arnold Rendering Issue

I am experiencing an issue where the texture I have applied to an object has essentially turned into a balloon.

I was trying to add a texture I imported from Quixel Megascans to an object I had created in Maya, (in this case it was a metal texture that I wanted to apply to the head of a hammer), but upon doing so the texture seems to be inflated in some way, like a balloon. The original mesh remains intact, but the texture that is supposedly applied to it doesn't seem to be functioning correctly. I have linked a screenshot of the problem below.

I am new to Maya, and have not experienced this problem before, so assistance would be appreciated.

Correction: I have found the solution. To anyone else who was having the same "balloon like" issue that I was, check the displacement attributes for the object and set the height to 0. For me, it was set to 1, and that is what caused the issue.
