Trouble Rendering from Command Line

 Im using Windows 10 and Maya 2016 ( student edition).

 Rendering using mental ray from command line.

 Getting this error:

 

fatal 211109: runtime exception 0xc0000005: access violation

 

 ???? Command.pngHelp !!

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Have you already tried downloading and installing all the updates or service packs available for Maya 2016? You can find them here.

 

Additionally, check and try out the suggested solution provided here for a similar incident that occurred before: Mental Ray Fatal Error

I'm getting an error message when I try

to download Maya 2016 service pack 2 for windows.

If you add "-v 5" or even "-v 6" to your command line you will get more output from mental ray. May be this helps to figure out where it hangs.
