If I use system to call a batch file from a mel script, is there any way to get the ERRORLEVEL returned by that batch file? The system call looks like it returns all the output from the script, which is not what I want. I tried using 'setx' in the batch file to set an environment variable to the value of the error level (already a hack) but that did not work either. Surely there is a way to pass errors back from a system call command?
