Trying to install maya 2018 -- cabinet file clic.cab is corrupt?

I am trying to install the student version of Maya 2018 from the Autodesk site, but every time I try I get this error message, and I'm not sure what it means or how to resolve this issue. I tried uninstalling my Maya 2017 (which also would not open when I tried, but has worked in the past - tough it's been a couple months since I used it), but that didn't help. Any help would be very much appreciated

Hi!

Download the complete installer before starting installation.

Also make sure that there is no other application running while installing and virus scanner does not block files need for installation.

Hi!

It should be available at your Autodesk Account.

This happened to me every time when using Chrome. I the used Internet Explorer to Login (stay logged in), under your name at top right select product management.

Click on Maya on the list.

Click on Downloads.

Under the Install Now button, select View All.

Click Download Now (to use Autodesk Download Manager) or Browser Download (slower).

Leave the popup download window open until install is complete.

This worked for me just now.

Cheers!
