Maya 2017 is not savin my unit setup. I want to use a metric setup with millimetr", but when I close Maya and restart it the settings are back to their default,centimetr

Now with S|U everything is fine.But I have another problem ( maybe) with a tolerance.I have upload 3d model with definite sizes and when i trying to measure it, it has other sizes. I don`t know what to do.

Hi!

 

1. Maya is not an engineering software it's an entertainment software.

 

2. Check the export settings (units) and import settings (units) for your model.

It there are no units to specify, or the object is not created with real world units, then you have to scale the object. This should not be a problem if you know the dimensions of the object.

Then export a model where you know the dimensions to find out where the problem is.
