I've written a script to help scale groups of animation curves, to make the animations more or less exaggerated. I'm using the scaleKey command, but one bug I've found with it is that if you have a selected time range (the highlighted red range in the time bar), scaleKey loses this info right after it executes if you scale using a time range. ScaleKey works fine if you don't specify a timerange, but I don't want to affect the whole curve, just the selected range.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to set a selected time range using script, its read only as far as I can tell. Does anyone have a way around this problem? I'm using Maya 2010.
Thanks,
Mike
