.Net Api as .Net Core

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone at Autodesk has given any thought to publishing a .Net Core version of the .Net Api? Conceivably, a .Net Core version would be able to run on Mac and Linux.

From what I can tell, the .Net Api is composed of a bunch of P/Invoke calls to the C++ api. Theoretically, it should work.

Thanks.

Hi,

Does anyone know anything about .NET Core or .NET 6 supporting for the Maya API?

The Maya Help has the following description and recommends .NET Framework 4.5.

It is recommended that you use .NET Framework 4.5 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 to compile the examples. However, you can still use .NET Framework 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010 to create a solution and compile the examples.

But, .NET Framework 4.5.2, 4.6, and 4.61 will retire on April 26, 2022.
Maya API will be discontinued .NET support?
