Mel script and icon location for a Mac

I just started using Maya 2008 on a Mac but I can't find the location to paste my scripts and icons. Example of what I'm looking for on a PC:

Icons go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\maya\8.5\prefs\icons

Scripts go here:
C:\Documents and Settings\*\My Documents\maya\8.5\scripts

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I believe you can put it anywhere you want, so long as you reference to the location in maya...
the default files go "I think" in users/shared/autodesk/maya

The correct location for Macs is:

home/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/2008/scripts

I believe there is a way to designate a file location, but I didn't find that info. The above location is the default locatiion.

Thanks
