Hi there
I am trying to figure out how I can get maya to handle user prefs from a custom location without using maya_app_dir as I need to use maya_app_dir for connecting up users to our pipeline server.
we want our users to still be able to customise their maya interface and we want those customisations to be stored in a central location so that they will be able to change machines without having to transfer or recreate their prefs.
anyone have any ideas how or where to do this?
Also if I have a python script in the maya_app_dir location, does it run first?
