I'm having trouble with Maya 2018. It saves .ma files, but when I open them they are empty. There's in a file size on them (in the past, I've run into maya files that were "saved", but had no file size), and there was definitely something in the scene, but 2018 doesn't seem to be picking that up. No errors or anything, just emptiness. It's like opening a 2018 mb file in 2017.
not sure if this is a "programming" issue, but it's a more general "maya" issue.
