FBX Import framerate and keyframes

Hey everyone,

I'm currently importing an fbx at 120 fps into a 60 fps Maya scene, and notice that there are no sub keyframes. I would like to import the 120 fps fbx data into Maya such that all of the keyframes from the original 120 fps are represented. In the 60 fps case that would mean sub keyframes on the .5, for 30 fps sub keyframes on the .25, .5, .75, etc, just in case they get up-sampled again later. I thought that it might be a simple matter of manipulating the timeline or some random checkbox in preferences to allow subframes but have thus far been unsuccessful. (Using maya 2016)

Thanks in advance!
