Create modelPanels in mayastandalone

Hi all,
I'm trying to change some color management preferences in mayapy without opening maya UI, which requires me to select an active view. Whenever I create a modelPanel, I receive a False output. Now I know selecting views in standalone mode is a tricky subject, but is there a way to change color preferences (and in general modify model panel and display preferences) in standalone maya?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @count.temp20

There is no "view" in maya standalone, so it will not be possible to change the color management or display preferences of one.

To render offline and change the color management, the command you are looking might be colorManagementPrefs, especially the renderingSpace flags.

Thank you for your response. I tried the command you suggested. There is a problem however. Whenever I try a command (say changing the view transform name), it seems nothing is happening. I don't receive a message stating any errors, but the settings don't seem to change. Is this a problem with my version of standalone or have I missed sth here?
thanks
