Cannot open my mb file

Hey guys. Im really in need of some help. I have been relentlessly building my city in Maya 2018.

Yesterday i saved and opened today to the error line 0/error reading file

It is 2.4gb in size and I cannot open it at all.

Please help with any advice.

Thanks for your reply. I just updated to the latest version and it opened again! So happy. Thanks for your help though. It's solved by updating to the latest.

Hi!

There was a bug in a previous Maya 2018 version that prevented files with a size larger than 2GB to be opened (that's why i asked for your version).

This has been fixed in Maya 2018.2 , so the solution is to update Maya.
