When I move or scale an object doesn't update the position or scale.

Things I tried:
-Repair, reinstall and uninstall and install again.
-Update card graphic drivers.

Update:
I tried change the rendered of viewport to Legacy Default Viewport and works good, but why doesnt work with 2.0?

Hi,

If Legacy viewport works then it would seem to indicate a graphics driver issue.

It is not enough to update your graphics driver. Rather you may need to match your driver to the version of Maya you are running. Use can use the link below to find out whether your graphics card is certified and what driver version works with Maya.

Also, you could try choosing a different Rendering Engine under:

Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > Display > Viewport 2.0

Hi!

I know there are certain situations where Viewport 2.0 doesn't update mesh position as is should, this can be solved

by switching to a legacy Viewport in some cases.

Please upload the scene-file, and post your Hardware Specs (Graphic Card, Operating System).

I tried change Rendering Engine to Direct x11 and Viewport 2.0 works fine again! Thanks! The problem was weird because 3 days ago Viewport 2.0 worked fine so I don't have an idea what happened xD

If it help someone, I have a Sapphire HD 7850 2GB OC and Windows 8.

Pd: Sorry for my bad english ❤️

Link must have changed but googling "Maya certified hardware" will get you to the right page.

In Maya 2018 (Linux Fedora), editing animation curves in the graph editor often doesn't update Viewport 2.0 either, not until you change to a different frame.... really unpleasant way to try and hit deadlines.  Compatible card, too---Quadro M5000.  The problem is literally always Viewport 2.0.  And I've heard Autodesk is going to remove the Legacy viewport permanently in the next version?

It's still an issue in 2024. Googling "Maya certified graphics cards" takes you to broken link on the Autodesk page (as of 5/30/23). Hilarious!

But changing the Rendering Engine under Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences > Display > Viewport 2.0

did seem to help--so thanks for that!
