Hi!
The texture is visible in your screenshot! (?)
If you talk about the UV Editor, please read the Maya help:

Hi!
OK, now i understand what you are talking about.
It looks like these faces are not fully visible. My guess:
1. In the Mesh Node you have enabled Mesh Component Display -> Backface Culling ("wire" instead of "off"). (Faces are only fully visible from the front-side.)
2. The normals of these faces are reverted. (Because of that they were red in the UV Editor)
Select the faces and in Modeling Menu: Mesh Display -> Reverse Normals
If that's not the problem, please upload the scene-file.

Hi!
You have transparency on your material:
Use a better transparency Algorithm like the new Alpha Cut:
in Viewport: Renderer -> Viewport 2.0 Settings / Hardware 2.0 Settings -> Performance -> Transparency Algorithm
or better, remove the Transparency from your material (lambert5) i don't see any benefit of this.
And some of your normals are reversed. Viewport: Lighting -> Two Sided Lighting (uncheck).

I have a similar problem and I get an error every time I open my Mayan 2017 program. And it is also with the textures and I have a student license
