Hello.
I have a school assignment that I'm stressing over. It's so close to being done and I have textured my model and exported the texture to Maya to a lower resolution model, but when I apply it the texture doesn't apply to the entire model, it just sort of applies on different spots. My guess is that the problem is my UV-mapping since I made it automatic but how do I fix this? Because I've tried to UV-map again but the high resolution makes it problematic to me since the edges doesn't loop around and therefore I can't cut it the way I want. Picture attached down below.
