Problem using bevel (Maya 2018)

I'm currently modeling a screw, but there is a certain part of the edge (selected on the image with orange) that I'm trying to bevel that doesn't... well bevel. I already checked my topology, there's no faces overlapping themselves or anything. Does anybody know what the problem could be?Highlighted section doesn't bevel

I'm adding this reply since it now marks an error when I try to do it:

I fixed it... I literally just erased the faces involved in the problem and placed them again individually 😶
