Moving multiple meshes that appear off screen.

I have several .obj/.fbx files (100's of meshes)  that when imported appear at 50,000 units on the x-axis.  After i import them and use select all, i can see there are at 50,000 units away from where i want them x=0.

 

Is there a paste function that can cut/paste it to the center? if not, how can i move them all at once and in the same relative position to each other?

 

is there updated .obj/.fbx plugins that work for older maya?

Those file formats are only importing whats stored in them. 

You could write a script to move all objects into the center.

Hi,

You can use the input box (relative mode) in the Maya status line to accomplish this.
Select your objects and then translate them in relative mode -50000 units in X.
