Hi guys,
I want to be able to change the colour of the selected face (for the sake of clarity, this isn't the colour of the face itself, this is the colour of selection) from orange to a different colour. This is to try and make it easier to see things when it comes to modelling as the colour of the original lambert makes it kind of difficult to see the selection, primarily because of my colourblindness. I also don't want to edit the original lambert because quite apart from anything else, I feel that having to recolour it every single time I open a new scene would drive me around the bend. Is there any way to change the colour of the face selection, ideally without editing configuration files as that's a little harder to do on a college system, as I think you can appreciate.
Thanks,
T

Hi,
If you go into Windows > Settings/Preferences > Color Settings you can customize the Maya color scheme.
Specifically, go into the Active Tab > Components where you can change the color for selected Polygon Faces.
Note: Maya only lets you select from a limited palette of colors but hopefully it will be sufficient.
