connect two curves without grouping or parenting

Hi, I have a problem with nurbs

sometimes I need to use nurbs to make complex shapes that I cannot with polys, to reconvert after

BUT

I don't know how to connect two points of two different curves (for instance when you duplicate and flip to have the perfect simmetry)

how can I do?

I tried grouping but after I must make two loft instead of one

I also tryed using the shape method, selecting the shape from outliner and making a null group, freezing all and parenting with

parent -r -s,

also here remain two different curves

can you help me??

thanks a lot

If i understand you correctly this is how I would approach it.
Duplicate and flip your curve.
Reverse the direction of one of the curves.
Select both curves and use Curves|attach with the method set to 'Connect'
This will give you one curve matching the shape of the original 2 curves
am I on the right track?

yes you are, but unfortunatly it gives me some glitch

it makes edges that I don't want and split the whole shape in a strange way

I'm sure that the cv points are in the right place, because I used the snap to grid and for sure they touch

Have you reversed the duplicate curves direction? Use Display|Nurbs|CVs to see the direction of the curve. Think of it as trying to create a loop, you want the end of one curve to be where the other begins (but you probably know that already)

NO I didn't

I'm very bad with nurbs, I would learn better to model procedurally (as use path in photoshop instead of raster)

but I'm more comfortable with polys

I've only flipped the scale

I really don't know how to read it

ok so hopefully it will work when you do!
use Curves|ReverseDirection on one of the curves.
The square CV at one end of the curve is the start of the curve so in this screen we can see both curves starting from the bottom.
Does that fix it?!
