2d to 3d logo

I'm modelling a gpo Brooklyn boombox for school and I wanna make a 3d gpo logo from an svg. However whenever I smooth the svg it gets all messed up. How do I create a smoothed version of it?

what about some images to show us what you have on import and what happens on smooth?

the " it gets all messed up" thing can happen for various reasons.

alright. the problem is that the caps of your model created by the svg are basically a big n-gon. so the result is as you would expect it. if you need additional smoothing on top of what you already have you need to find your svg attributes> geometry tab and check a) "deformable mesh" and b) enable bevel > inner bevel + enable back bevel and use front bevel. adjust bevel distance/offset/divisions to your liking.
