why the N-gone not stop the edge flow

i study topolgy and i made shape with n-gone in one side and the n-gone is not stopping the edge flow and i am wondering why this happening i love to know why???ngone flow 1.pngngone no flow.png

Looks like an error to me. This should not work.

 

I assume the ngon is symmetrical. Therefore the cut tool does find its way. But its does not make anny sence it should not work or should work in both cases. Interesting find.

I think because the n-gone ends with two verts on both side so the algorithm linked them as you can see the loop running all over and ends on that idiot sides
