Trouble moving objects after extrusion

Hi, I'm extruding a mesh along a curve to create a root. After I've done the extrusion, I want to move the root into place, but something weird happens when I try to move it. Here's a screenshot:



Any ideas? I don't want to delete history, because I need to adjust the curve after I've placed it.

Don't translate both the curve and the mesh. The mesh is still connected to the curve, so when you move both, you're actually double-transforming the root. Leave the curve in place and simply move the mesh.
