Texturing and rending a semi transparent material

Hello! I am looking to create some texture like the image attached below. I have tried using glass material, but I am not quite getting a similar effect; it turns out to be transparent, and I lose the model's shape. I want to be able to see the model and its shape but also see the products that are within (which will be a solid color)
